An online survey conducted by SmartGirl.com and the Young Adult Library Services Association found that 72 percent of teens liked to read for pleasure. But 43 percent of the survey respondents (3,072 young men and women between the ages of 11 and 18) said they enjoyed reading but did not have time to do so.
