PEN/Faulkner Award
The PEN/Faulkner Award is affiliated with PEN (Poets, Playwrights, Editors, Essayists and Novelists) and is named for William Faulker, the author of such novels as "The Sound and the Fury" and "As I Lay Dying." The award recognizes an outstanding fiction book selected by judges who are themselves fiction writers.
